The Stedfasts whilst being blessed with 5 children, of which they took 3 with them on a journey half around the world – New Zealand to Cyprus, were unlucky enough to both be affected severely. But thanks god the tides turned once they arrived in Cyprus. Krisztina Koncsek, Ungarn, Post Vac und Long Covid
3 Wochen nach ihrer Impfung erlitt Krisztina während eines Tennistrainings eine Synkope. Es lag kein akutes Herztrauma vor, aber nach mehreren Tests wurde eine Kardiomyopathie diagnostiziert. Nachdem sie sich teilweise zu erholen schien, entwickelte sie POTS, Fatigue und leichte GI-Symptome.
Nach zwei weiteren Covid-Infektionen verschlimmerte sich ihr Zustand zu schwerem Fatigue und schwerem POTS, ihre Histaminprobleme begannen und es traten Taubheitsgefühle und Kopfschmerzen auf.
Im Oktober 2023 war sie von einem Tag auf den anderen ans Bett gefesselt und litt unter sehr starken Fatigue, Schlaflosigkeit, Magen- und Darmschmerzen, neuropathieähnlichen Symptomen und Entzündungsgefühlen. Ihre behandelnden Ärzte sagten, es sei psychologisch bedingt, denn alle ihre Labortests waren in Ordnung.
When she arrived the last week of May at the Apheresis Center, she had 35 (!) severe symptoms. Today, beginning of July there are almost no symptoms left, with moderate MCAS being the main symptom to work on. During the video she surprised Markus – she is moving to Cyprus in October – being sunlight-tolerant again after treatment will definitely help there!

Marko spricht über seine Erfahrungen auf Zypern in unserer Klinik in Larnaca, wie hilfreich Dianna von der Reiseberatung bei Transport und Unterkunft war und welche Vorteile er in der Behandlung auf unserer Insel sah. Durch die Ergänzung seiner H.E.L.P. 15-jährige Liz Jelley, Long Covid, Schottland
Liz (Elizabeth oder auch Lizzie genannt) Jelley ist unter Menschen mit Long Covid sehr bekannt. Sie ist eine Aktivistin für Long Covid Kids und war sogar daran beteiligt, einen Gegenbrief an den britischen Premierminister über Long Covid zu schreiben . Sie hatte viele Auftritte in Presse und Fernsehen. Was viele nicht wissen, ist, dass ihre Mutter jahrelang ein "mildes" MECFS hatte, dann aber auch von Long Covid betroffen war.

15-Jährige Keelyn O., Long Covid, Kanada
Aber nachdem ihre Symptome immer schwerer zu ertragen waren (ihr Long Covid zeigte POTS, Fatigue, Brainfog, Schlaflosigkeit und Angstzustände und endete mit bis zu 10 Stunden andauernden Muskelzuckungen, der Unfähigkeit, sich zu konzentrieren oder Hausaufgaben zu machen, und der Tatsache, dass sie kaum noch Emotionen hatte), nahm ihre Mutter sie mit in unsere Klinik auf Zypern, um sie mit einer Kombinationstherapie und H.E.L.P. Despite her way not being easy – she needed a catheter, her small body was not always willing to establish a good blood flow with the machine and the amount of treatable plasma was sometimes lower than desired – after 7 H.E.L.P. Long Covid Kinder&Jugendliche: Zac Sobey (13) und sein Vater Ryan, Long Covid, Australien
13-year-old Zac Sobey from Australia went from being carried to the beach – because he could no longer walk – to surfing in a matter of weeks after having been treated at our clinic. His father, Ryan Sobey, originally from South Africa is a scientist with background in genetics and biochemistry. This helped him identify Help Apheresis as a treatment for his son’s Long Covid.

Arthur aus dem Vereinigten Königreich spricht mit unserem Mitgründer Markus Klotz über seine Genesung von Long Covid-Atemnot und anderen Symptomen mit Hilfe der Help Apherese. Maria Endrodi, Post-Vac-Syndrom / Long Covid, Ungarn
Maria und Tamas, ein reizendes Paar aus Ungarn mit Wurzeln in den USA und Italien, kamen Anfang September auf unserer Insel an, und ehe wir uns versahen, überhäuften sie unser Team mit süßen Kuchen und Liebe. Als Maria bei uns ankam, waren ihre Ängste für sie kaum zu ertragen, sie litt unter starker Muskelschwäche, Atemproblemen, Brainfog, ständiger Fatigue, Unwohlsein nach körperlicher Anstrengung, Schlaflosigkeit, Temperaturschwankungen und Neuropathie sowie anderen Autoimmunproblemen. Ihre Symptome begannen vor über zwei Jahren nach der ersten Impfung, verschlimmerten sich aber nach einer Covid-Infektion erheblich. Nachdem wir mehrere große Gerinnungsaggregate aus ihren Armvenen entfernt hatten, wurde ihr ein Katheter gelegt, um die Help Apherese Behandlungen trotz der schweren Hyperkoagulation durchführen zu können. ‘I arrived here practically in a wheelchair, I had not been well for a very long time. I did all of my own research before I left Australia and Help Apheresis seemed to have the answers to help fix me. From the minute you walk into the clinic, the staff could not be more friendly. They seem to have blended the German efficiency and the Cypriot hospitality. It is such a warm environment to be treated, the staff is incredible, they put me so much at ease with their kindness. The treatment itself is not that invasive, especially if you have the catheter because it means you can have your hands free and read et cetera. Now after treatment Nr. 4 I feel fantastic, but I still have to finish the course of 6 treatments because the filters are still coming out blocked. Overall I can’t thank the clinic enough, the treatment has been fantastic. Overall it has been a fantastic experience, I could not recommend it highly enough. When I realized there is a clinic in Cyprus, the fact that it is a beautiful island made the choice of me and my wife easy. It is a great place to recover and heal by the sea. My advice to other patients is to do your own research, work out if you have micro-clotting which is easy to understand if you follow the symptoms. And then do what it takes to get this treatment to get your life back.’

Long Covid Kinder&Jugendliche: Lycke Ostby Paulsen (13), Long Covid, Norwegen
Lycke didn’t want to travel to Cyprus, but her parents managed to get her to us with a compromise between holiday and treatment. Her severe Long Covid symptoms (Fatigue, POTS, PEM, Insomnia, Light&Sound&Movement Sensitivity, Anxiety, Dizziness, Skin Rashes, Nerve Pain, Muscle & Rheumatic Issues etc.) improved so significantly she is now back to school 3 days a week and out of the wheelchair, walking around with her friends in school. She also started singing again for the first time in 1.5 years – her mood is back, her anxiety gone and Lycke is a normal teenager again!
Her mother Laila talks with our co-founder Markus about their journey to Cyprus and the ups and downs along their daughter’s recovery. Lycke loved Cyprus so much, she did not want to go back home at the end.

Verena Hunger, Post-Vac-Syndrom, Österreich
Verena had already tried every possible treatment when she came to our clinic, she even tried Immunoadsorption before and it helped her with the neurological symptoms she was having, but it didn’t help with the fatigue. Unfortunately, three months after her Immunoadsorption, she got worse again as it’s effect was temporary.

‘I had 4 Help Apheresis treatments last year in Germany. They brought me back to 80% of my former capacity. Unfortunately I reinfected with Covid again after and as I did not have Early Treatment packages back then, my Long Covid came back with even more symptoms.
I decided to go for Combination Therapy with Help Apheresis at the Apheresis Center in Cyprus. I was put on the clinics’ MCAS protocol a few weeks prior to my arrival and I arrived with my MCAS being much better already. Now I am receiving Help Apheresis, IV treatments and medication protocols since three weeks and my symptoms are mostly gone already, I could even have a beer yesterday for the first time again and enjoy the beach, no more pain and anxiety!
The Apheresis Center is a totally different experience and I am super happy I chose Cyprus. It is very different from Germany. The doctors, nurses and the whole team are doing everything to bring me back to my full capacity, their knowledge about Long Covid and the individually adapted treatment is great – a real concierge medicine experience! I missed home last year in Germany – here in Cyprus not a single day, we even extended our stay and will come back next year for holidays!’

Stephanie Hadjiioannou, Long Covid, Griechenland
Stephanie litt an schwerem Long Covid. Extreme Fatigue und der Verlust der Fähigkeit zu sprechen waren die häufigsten Symptome, aber die Liste der Symptome war lang: Lärm- und Bewegungsempfindlichkeit, Schwindel, PEM, kognitive Dysfunktion/Hirnnebel, Gedächtnisverlust, POTS, Kopfschmerzen, Muskelschmerzen und Depressionen. Nach 6 Wochen Behandlung mit Apherese, Hyperthermie, Infusionen, Nutraceuticals und Peptiden war sie symptomfrei. Es war bemerkenswert zu sehen, dass sie so schnell wieder sprechen konnte. ‘I just returned home from a 3 weeks stay in Larnaca. I have had 4 H.E.L.P Apheresis treatments for my Long Covid in the first 2 weeks and 1 HBOT treatment (just to try, but not my favourite). During the first treatment the pressure between heart and lungs disappeared after about 1,5/2 hours. Also the brainfog had been reduced substantially. Simply request her/his USI – Unique Social Identifier!
In Social Media and Forums Spam and Fake-Posts are a common problem. A great way to identify if you are speaking to a real current or former patient of the Apheresis Center is to request their USI – Unique Social Identifier.
How does a USI (Unique Social Identifier) work? Every Apheresis Center patient can request his/her USI. A USI is a 5 digit code (e.g. 3R7TZ) that is connected to one enquiry from one social account and is valid for a single indentification process only (72 hours), whilst fulfilling all data protection regulations.
Wie funktioniert das?
- Sie sprechen online mit jemandem, sind sich aber nicht sicher, ob es sich um einen echten Menschen/Patienten handelt
- Senden Sie ihnen eine Anfrage für eine USI über Ihr Social Media-Konto, das Sie zur Kommunikation mit ihnen verwenden
- Sie werden dann eine aktuelle USI zum einmaligen Gebrauch (gültig für 72 Stunden) vom Apheresezentrum anfordern.
- Sie können sie überprüfen (siehe unten) und feststellen, ob es sich tatsächlich um eine gültige USI handelt (Sie sprechen mit einem echten Patienten/einer echten Person) oder nicht (gefälscht/Spam)
